When we speak of God, we’re not talking about an old, angry, judgmental bearded white man in the clouds.

When we speak of God, we’re speaking of the God of our being. The God who animates us and everything in the universe, from the tiniest quark (yes, this God is one with science) to the largest oak and the grandest idea. This God beats our hearts, grows our hair, and works through our hands.

When we speak of God, we speak of a presence that’s both personal and impersonal at the same time. This God is the intelligence, creativity, grace, and the LOVE of our being.

When it comes to Jesus, let’s start with who he’s not...

Though he is our way, he’s not the only way to the top of this mountain. He’s not here to judge or condemn. We view Jesus as the supreme teacher of oneness with God and the human expression of unconditional love for all. Jesus said, “This and greater things shall you do.” We embrace this as an invitation to live his teachings and expand them in our lives.

By the way, Christ was not his last name – it is the name for the consciousness of oneness within us all.

We LOVE the Bible! ...But in a very different way from which you might imagine.

We don’t take the Bible literally and we don’t get hung up on, “Did this or that really happen?” We interpret the Bible metaphysically, which means all the people, places, and things in the Bible represent aspects of our human consciousness.

Here's another one where it's important to highlight what prayer is not...

Prayer is not a form of communication from a puny human to an all-powerful, external being in the sky. Prayer is one of the greatest spiritual calibrators – it connects you to your Divinity and brings forth your true desires.

We practice the power of affirmative prayer, seeking not to pray for an external change, but to pray for an internal change of heart and mind that leads to the creation of a better reality for all.

Forgiveness is not only challenging, it is one of the most misunderstood concepts in modern spiritual teachings. It is not a pardoning or a quid pro quo. And it is not something you do towards another. True forgiveness can only take place within – you can only truly forgive yourself.

Forgiveness is the letting go of the errors of the mind – the belief in negativity, lack, separation – and the embracing of the truth that we are all connected. It is through forgiveness that true spiritual healing takes place.
